About Us –Welcome to the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Here, you can learn more about our college, our leadership, and our campus. The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges — medicine, nursing, and pharmacy — located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college’s 16 clinical science departments house more than 440 faculty members and 380 residents and fellows.
Services – In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville. Third-year medical students enrolled at UF spend about 25 percent of their training at the Jacksonville campus, gaining valuable experience in an urban setting. While third-year rotations are only offered to UF students, elective rotations in the final year of clinical training are available to students from accredited schools in the US and Canada.
